The format for the Christie Cup is two teams selected from all the players. The teams are divided into twosomes. Each twosome share a cart and goes head-to-head against their opposite cart for points that go toward the overall team total. The three-hole sets will be best ball, scramble, and alternate shot, with handicaps. Each three-hole match is worth one point toward the overall team score, with one additional point awarded for the low 18-hole score.
We will be returning to Spring Valley Golf Course for this year's event. Spring Valley is a lot of fun to play, and with this format, it's an event that should not be missed.
Here are the results from the 2023 event. Team Bruce has won 11 of the 20 tournaments played to date, so the rest of the Christie Family needs to step up.
